Blake Baggett

Blake Baggett’s night started off on a high note with a great start in the first of the three races Saturday night in Indianapolis.  He would launch out of the line in 6th, the position he would ultimately cross the checkered flag in.  For main event two, he performed even better, as he was able to obtain the hole shot, and ride in the front of the pack the entire race before dropping some positions and finishing 5th.  In the last main event race of the night, it was deja vu all over again, as Blake again started up in the front.  Unfortunately, at around the mid-point of the race, he ran into an issue that had him fall back to the very end of the field.  But they don’t call him El Chupacabra for nothing!  He put his head down and with tenacity charged his way back through the field to finish just outside the top 10, taking home a 12th place.  His 6-5-12 score would place him in 8th overall for the night.

Blake Baggett

Blake Baggett’s day began on a high note, as he was able to post the 4th fastest time of the day in qualifying.  He would go on to take that energy to the first main event.  Blake’s timing was impeccable as the gates dropped, and he shot off the line leading the pack around the first corner to securing the holeshot!  As the race went on, he would battle it out for position inside the top three, getting up to 2nd place then ultimately falling back to third before crossing the checkered flag.  The second main event went well for the #4 KTM rider as well.  He again had a great start, and was able to ride clean and consistently, despite severely deteriorating track conditions.  Blake put in solid lap after solid lap, and crossed the finish line in a very respectable 4th place.  Unfortunately, Baggett’s luck would run out in main event 3.  Despite getting yet another holeshot, Blake would end up crashing, causing him to retire from the last main event of the night.  Even with the DNF, his 3/4 finishes in the first two mains would get him an overall 7th for the night, keeping him in 3rd place in championship points standing!

Benny Bloss

Benny Bloss would get to the night show by way of a 2nd place finish in the LCQ.  The first main event’s start saw Bloss burred deep in the pack, making it was clear he had some work to do, and work he did.  He would charge through the pack, making his way forward to finish just outside the top ten.  Main event two had a similar outcome for Benny, where he finished in 13th place.  Thankfully, main event 3 went better for #60.  With a much better start, inside the top ten, he was able to ride consistently lap after lap, to finish the final main event in 8th place.  His 11-13-8 score would give him an overall 11th overall finish for the night.

Anthony Rodriguez

Anthony Rodriguez’s night started off favorably in main event one. He rode strong and precise on the technical track, and worked his way to a top ten finish.  The second main event would see Rodriguez finish in 13th place.  As the final main event of the night gave way, Anthony would start strong, shooting off the line to lead the pack!  He again rode fast & consistently early in the race, fighting for 1st place before a mistake caused him to go down.  He would get back on his #56 machine to finish 21st, and round out his night with a 16th overall.
